Evidence, not theatre.

Case studies demonstrate programme scale, product judgement, governance design, knowledge-operation discipline, systems architecture, operational testing and creative production. Each distinguishes what was originated, adopted, implemented, verified and left unresolved.

The work sits at the intersection of creative direction, production systems, product design and evidence-led governance.

Programme management

The Athenaeum

Challenge: build a broad, rights-aware knowledge base for an online TTRPG and AI-assisted Game Master without allowing research findings to become runtime canon automatically.

Briana's role: product direction, Library recovery priorities, player-agency requirements, rules design, test approval and review.

13 September update: Prologue has 33 connected Library collections, deployed open-ended solo play and PostgreSQL saves. The free-play update passed 26 offline checks and four actual-model cases. Numerical rules are specified in part; implementation is next.

Rights workflow

The Athenaeum — Product and UGC Rights Workflow

Focus: a reviewable workflow for product use, user-generated content, attribution, permissions, takedown handling and rights-aware publishing.

Product direction

Memory Companion App

Challenge: create a respectful memory-support product for a vulnerable user while controlling privacy, truthfulness, consent and store-readiness risk.

Briana's role: concept originator, product owner, requirements authority, hardware tester and final release decision-maker.

Evidence: 33 workflow stages; 41 repository commits; 13 decision records; ten completed store-policy declarations; release prepared but never submitted.

Governance design

Project Airlock

Challenge: make root-scoped AI governance discoverable before an exact-path write begins.

Briana's role: governance authority, test observer, repair critic, originator of key terminology and approver of the bounded case study.

Evidence: two observed entry paths, one specified acceptance test, a rejected unsafe repair and a preferred repair explicitly labelled unimplemented.

Knowledge operations

World of Gor Verified Canon Archive

Challenge: create a source-traceable archive capable of answering across distant chapters while protecting provenance and attribution.

Briana's role: mandate owner, source-boundary authority, reviewer and adjudicator of the distinction between originating and extending the system.

Evidence boundary: the public case study uses only approved, high-level structural and attribution facts; extracted canon and private source paths remain excluded.

AI-Guided Roleplay Knowledge Orchestration

Challenge: convert player imagination into governed, bounded and efficient AI Game Master context without confusing Libraries, Categories, Campaigns or Scenarios.

Briana's role: product architect, ontology designer, governance authority and originator of the cross-Library Category model, multiplayer requirements and human-approval boundaries.

Current stage: clarification remains active; implementation and final RedTeam review have not begun.

First Fracture

Challenge: test persistent AI roleplay controls against a living Campaign without confusing design specifications, offline adapter tests and deployed runtime behaviour.

Briana's role: Campaign authority, product architect, test director, approval authority and adversarial reviewer.

Evidence: 156 established events; 35 persistent actors; 141 adjudicated outcomes; 485 knowledge-ledger records; a 53-of-53 offline-tested lore adapter; and 40 separately labelled, unexecuted Stage One acceptance specifications.

The Adventures of Grogg

Challenge: transform inconsistent early-reader source material into a governed adult satirical property with stable world rules, character identity and a reviewable production path.

Briana's role: creative and production director, world-building authority, character-system contributor, exact-asset canon decision-maker and visual failure reviewer.

Evidence: nine versioned 3D development packages; eight-character ensemble direction; four exact 2D canon references; deterministic rig, reopen and likeness-review controls.

BTC Steampunk Total Conversion

Focus: One Barotrauma Touring Company total-conversion project, including medical, UI, interiors, engineering and the Brass Nautilus workstream.

Briana's role: creative direction, scope, priorities, in-game review and beta approval, with AI-assisted implementation and production support.

13 September update: the public beta includes live BTCMedical injury mapping and access to native treatment. New cladding, helm and vessel work remain in development.

How to read this portfolio

Large numbers describe discovery and programme scale. Smaller numbers describe increasingly strict qualification stages. A failed or rejected candidate is not hidden: it is evidence that the controls actually constrained the work.
