Book 1–3 WoG Adara
The earlier instance associated with the initial architecture and early-book implementation. Briana's reported evidence included a handoff package and tag signatures establishing that later work inherited an existing system.
Case study · evidence and knowledge operations
A source-traceable knowledge system designed to preserve record identity, evidence boundaries, confidence and attribution across long-form fiction—without reproducing the underlying canon in this portfolio.
Public evidence boundary: this case study describes structure, governance and attribution only. It contains no extracted story content, no source paths and no claim that conversation-reported archive figures were independently reverified for publication.
Long-form canon retrieval fails when summaries flatten uncertainty, citations cannot be traced, or later contributors are mistaken for the originators of inherited systems. The archive was intended to answer across distant chapters while preserving which source supported each statement and how confidently it could be treated.
Briana directed the mandate, source boundaries and acceptance discipline. AI collaborators performed extraction, assembly and retrieval work under that authority.
Attribution integrity
The earlier instance associated with the initial architecture and early-book implementation. Briana's reported evidence included a handoff package and tag signatures establishing that later work inherited an existing system.
A separate later instance associated with continuation beginning at Book 4. Substantial later implementation does not retroactively establish origination of the inherited architecture.
The distinction became a governance lesson: repository history and handoff evidence must be inspected before assigning authorship based on who most recently operated or extended a system.
Reported scale · not independently reverified here
These figures are attributed to Briana or conversation material she supplied. The authorised Portfolio intake did not inspect the source repository, ledgers or extracted records; the figures are therefore reported rather than independently verified.
The evidence supports her mandate for source-traceable canon work, her insistence on provenance and her correction of later misattribution. Exact first authorship of every standing extraction discipline remains unresolved.
Individual rulings and project-evolution records combined Briana's adjudication with AI synthesis and implementation. Approval is distinguished from sole authorship.
AI collaborators performed chapter extraction, assembly, version wiring and retrieval tooling under Briana's mandate and bounded authorisation.
The available Portfolio evidence does not establish whether later books used the original method unchanged, an altered method or a replacement. The portfolio leaves that question open.
The archive demonstrates knowledge-operation direction, provenance design, confidence-aware retrieval, long-range consistency requirements and attribution correction. Just as importantly, it demonstrates the discipline to label reported metrics and unresolved origins rather than converting an impressive output into unsupported certainty.
